April 10, 2009 Earworm

In 1988, before they were reborn slippy but after they went doot (doot doot), Underworld released the far poppier and guitar based, "Underneath The Radar". Glaringly produced by Rupert Hine, it was chock full of fun ditties to dance to and, especially on the opening track - "Glory! Glory!", quite a few pokes at the moral majority hypocrisy that often fueled the 80's. As media outlets report the decline of Christianity in the US, let "Glory! Glory!" serve as a reminder that Jesus' is not the only second coming for which we should be looking out for.

Have a great weekend.
